AWL’s Medical Director – William S. Koch, M.D.

Dr. Koch graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina and is a Family Medicine Practitioner. He established his medical practice in 1979 in the Powdersville-Wren community located in the upstate of South Carolina.  

For over 30 years he and his staff have focused on providing exceptional service to  patients and their families.  With this in mind, he expanded his traditional medical practice to offer additional treatment options requested by his patients.

In 1998, with the increasing obesity and diabetic epidemic, Advanced Weight Loss Center was founded.  This new addition focused on the intervention and treatment of obesity, through nutritional supplementation, diet and education.  Our patient’s found and continue to have great success with these programs.  

Through the years we have continued to research new alternatives for weight loss and fully believes that Advanced Weight Loss & Wellness Center is on the cutting edge. We recently added  HCG to our medically supervised program options.
